The course will take competitors through forests, tea fields, coffee plantations and villages - competitors will experience many different types of terrain, but mostly trails or dirt tracks. Pu’er in Yunnan is one of the most beautiful regions in China and the race goes through it at the middle of dry season.
To get to the event, the easiest and fastest way is to fly to the domestic airport of Pu'Er Simao. There are connections to there from Beijing, Shanghai Hongqiao and mainly Kunming, the provincial capital of Yunnan Province in Southwest China. There's also bus connections and train connections.
