Port Dickson and the Sungai Menyala Forest Department welcomes all fast-paced runners for a 50k race that is sometimes called "the easiest trail of the season" , but then has close to 50% a DNF rate.
The 2019 route will be one big 50k loop rather than the two loops of 2017 and 2018. Still, you can expect a flat and a runnable course without much technical trail, unless it rains. The heat would be the main challenge for this trail race, hydration strategy is substantial to finish this race. A flat trail does not mean you will be bored. Most interesting part the route will go though the tribal village (Kampung Orang Asli) near the forest. Overseas runners would get the most out of this cultural sighting during the race.
While other distances are also on offer, please note that only the 50k main race qualifies for Asia Trail Master Championship points.
