The Moon 100 is the latest brainchild of the Teelakow crew in Thailand. This could be a classic-in-the-making with a 100k course going naturally around the Ko Phanang island in the south of Thailand. Ko Phanang is known as the Full Moon Party island, and it is no surprise that the event will take place around full moon.
The event website for The Moon 100 will be released in January 2019
Fly into Ko Samui if you can, which has several international connections such as Singapore. Via Bangkok and Phuket you can also easily reach Ko Samui.
Ko Phangan itself does not have an airport, so you need a ferry from the mainland to get there.
The Full Moon parties are stuff of legends, so book ahead. The event organiser, Teelakow, will provide options in January.
